A mahogany day bed from our beautiful Sleigh range of mahogany furniture. This is styled on a traditional 'Sleigh' bed and has a hidden second hidden 'trundle' bed beneath that is on castors allowing easy access whenever required.
Simply add cushions to have a useful day bed whilst the trundle bed beneath provides a very useful and practical solution to an extra spare bed. Both beds take a single mattress and we recommend a mattress up to 7" deep for the base and up to about 8" deep for the top.
Our Sleigh day bed is hand made in solid mahogany, and comes complete with a slatted base allowing you to use the single mattress of your choice. Normally available in Antique White and Polished Mahogany with other finishes available to order. The price shown is for the mahogany finish.
In common with our other beds it is delivered partially assembled to enable easy transportation and is easily re-assembled. The trundle base is delivered fully assembled but the main part is in four sections - headboard, footboard, sides and mattress slats.
We can also have this bed made to order with a back panel thereby allowing it to be used as a chaise or sofa. Product code LBE1111S.
